How is Maximum Daily Loss calculated?
Maximum Daily Loss is calculated based on the trader’s equity at the start of the trading day (00:00 UTC). The daily loss limit represents the maximum amount the equity is allowed to decrease within that UTC trading day. Violating this threshold results in immediate account closure.
- The limit applies to both realized and unrealized PnL.
- Losses incurred from open positions count toward the limit even if trades are still active.
- If the equity dips below the permitted daily threshold at any moment, the system triggers a violation.
This rule is designed to prevent uncontrolled risk-taking and encourage traders to manage exposure and volatility with intention.
